Biliran
Naval, the capital of Biliran Province, contains a charming cluster of Spanish-era and American-period heritage structures that trace the island's colonial history. The Saint John the Baptist Parish Church, built in the 19th century, anchors the town plaza with its distinctive baroque facade and hand-painted ceiling murals. Nearby, ancestral houses with hardwood construction and wide azotea balconies line the heritage streets. The Biliran Provincial Museum within the complex houses artefacts, photographs, and maps documenting the island's history from pre-colonial times to the present.
