Travel Tips
Hire a banca from Naval port — the crossing takes about 20–30 minutes. Plan your visit around low tide (check tide tables before you go) to walk the sandbar at its most dramatic extent. Wear water shoes when walking the reef flat to avoid stepping on urchins. Bring sufficient drinking water as the island's facilities are minimal.
